I’m very excited to paint a landscape at The Benson Place to donate to their blueberry field restoration fundraiser! There are so many views to choose from it was hard to make up my mind—I decided to stand in the field and do the view in the direction of their house and barn. The painting will take about 5 sessions on site and a few tweaks in the studio. It is 14 x 18” oil on linen.

The Benson Place painting as of September 20th, it will start to get more interesting as the colors change! also looking forward to some different lighting conditions.

Here is the finished painting! (Just waiting for the photo) Next up is a commission for my brother of our mountain view. I’m planing on using this painting as a first in a series and if it takes off I will use it to help fund the workforce development idea.

in 2010 I traveled to Europe and painted at several vineyards for Vintus Wine importers. This one was done in Lyons, France.
